Skooly

We're building the operating system for educational institutions in Bolivia.

One platform for everything that happens inside a school, kindergarten, or university — admissions, classes, attendance, grades, payments, communications, and reporting — with dedicated dashboards for directors, teachers, students, parents, and admissions teams, all assisted by Alma AI.

How it started

Skooly didn't begin as a school directory. It began watching the daily chaos play out in institutions across Bolivia: directors answering parent WhatsApps at midnight, admissions managers tracking leads on Excel sheets, teachers writing grades in notebooks, finance staff chasing payments on chat, and parents trying to piece all of that together to understand what was happening with their kids.

Every role had its own improvised tool — and none of them spoke to each other. The information existed, but it was lost in private WhatsApp groups, parallel spreadsheets, paper notebooks, and conversations that were never recorded anywhere. Families, on the other side, lived the mirror image: weeks of calls, repeating the same questions, and never feeling they had the full picture.

Skooly is the platform we're building to replace all of that at once. One platform for the entire educational ecosystem: dashboards for directors, teachers, students, and parents; an admissions CRM with Alma AI handling WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram 24/7; payment management with automatic reminders; classes, attendance, assignments, grades, and report cards; visit and meeting scheduling with automatic AI summaries; auto-translation of the institution's profile into English and Portuguese to reach international students considering studying in Bolivia; and measurable marketing with real metrics.

We're early. The team is small, the headquarters is in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, and every feature we ship comes from a real conversation with a director, a teacher, an admissions lead, a finance manager, or a parent tired of how things work today.

What makes Skooly different

An AI layer over every feature.

We don't bolt AI on as a side feature. It's woven into every flow — handling inquiries, summarizing meetings, translating across languages — so your team focuses only on what matters: education.

Alma AI — the assistant that never sleeps

  • Talks to every family who knocks on your digital door — on WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram, in natural Spanish, English, and Portuguese, 24/7.
  • Summarizes calls and meetings automatically — teachers and directors stop taking notes by hand.
  • Helps students when they're stuck on an assignment or have questions about the program.
  • Learns your institution and replies with your tone, your information, and your policies.

Bolivia, accessible to the world

  • Your institution profile auto-translates into English and Portuguese — without you lifting a finger.
  • International students considering studying in Latin America find you in their own language.
  • Attract returning Bolivians, diplomatic kids, expats, and exchange students who otherwise wouldn't have shown up.
  • Compatible with multilingual Google search — more organic entries from the US, Brazil, and Europe.
For the entire education ecosystem

One platform. Five roles. One source of truth.

Everyone who touches the institution has their own dashboard, their own flow, and their own experience — all connected to the same information in real time.

Parents

A single dashboard with each child's assignments, attendance, grades, pending payments, announcements, and calendar — no more chasing anyone on WhatsApp.

Students

Their classes, digital homework, grades, teachers, and events in an app built for them. Alma AI is there when they need help.

Teachers

Take attendance, post assignments, grade work, generate report cards, and message families — without fighting spreadsheets. Calls and meetings are summarized automatically by Alma AI.

Directors

The full view: live admissions, occupancy by grade, monthly revenue, lead conversion, academic risk signals, and day-to-day operations — all in one panel.

Admissions & marketing

CRM with automated follow-up, measurable WhatsApp campaigns, auto-translation of your profile into English and Portuguese to reach international students, and real conversion metrics.

Ehab Fayez is a software engineer and entrepreneur based in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. Before Skooly, he worked on product and growth at startups across Latin America and Europe, with a focus on marketplaces and tools for SMBs.

Originally from Egypt, he chose Bolivia as the base to build Skooly. It's a long bet: a country with deep educational talent and a digital layer that's still being built. The goal isn't just to ship a product — it's to leave something big behind, made from Bolivia, for Bolivia and the wider region.

He builds Skooly end to end — product, code, institution integrations, and the daily conversations with directors, teachers, and parents — alongside a team that grows with every cohort of schools and families that join.
